Through Dj sneak I met the crew of Industry Night club. It was the one proper club that big international talent would play in Toronto. It was a club that held 1800 people and had one of the premier sound systems in Toronto. On my 30th birthday I tried something called the gratefully deadicated. From my experience of watching my hero Dj Sneak on the turntables I saw the vision. Mixing live Grateful Dead music in a continuous mix over a loud sound system. I hooked 2 tape decks up to a mixer and would play one tape from a live show and go through my collection and pick out another tape then mix it in at the end of the first song. It was all about hearing the Grateful Dead on a powerful system. I played a 8 hour set for the first rock down.
